Job Description:
Purpose and Scope: Perform general receptionist duties.
Responsibilities:
Greet all visitors and answer incoming calls, routing them to the proper person or department.
Maintain the overall aesthetic of the office by ensuring copy areas, conference rooms and hallways are clear and tidy.
Provide support to Human Resources, including fielding calls, faxing, filing, paperwork processing, scheduling interviews, candidate screening and applicant tracking.
Liaise with facilities and IT departments for desk moves and new hires.
Update phone list; sort and distribute incoming faxes.
Order kitchen and office supplies
Partner with Asset Protection
Department to maintain a high standard of office safety
Build knowledge of Polo Ralph Lauren lines, licensees, and current events within the company to provide the most accurate information to callers, employees and guests.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related; interested in career path in Human Resources field
1 year of Reception Experience or equivalent work/internship experience in a similar field.
Working knowledge of Excel and Word; strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
Superior customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual and flexible
Ability to be resourceful, proactive and self sufficient especially in high pressure situations.
