The Assistant Brand Manager is a critical member of the Licensed Brands team providing timely and efficient financial analysis, operational and technical support that contributes positively to the overall performance of the business and the team.
Job Description
- Assist the Brand Manager in all phases of brand management & development.
- Communicate with Brand Manager, Product Development and Sales team to provide information and problem solve.
- Assist the Brand Manager in assortment and line sheet planning; manage and update sku base.
- Assist in the development process from concept through in-store delivery by coordinating and managing market research, product planning, pricing, positioning, packaging, promotions and communications.
- Create and maintain weekly IPA, risk report, replenishment OTB and availability report.
- Maintain delivery report on all PO's and advise any discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing seasonal post mortem reports that analyze sales results per group to help drive future development.
- Assist Brand Managers in developing store directives and product knowledge information for store service team.
- Assist Brand Managers in preparing monthly/seasonal business recaps to Licensors.
- Maintain sample library and coordinate samples being sent to accounts for review, advertising, etc.
- Maintain showrooms.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in retail, fashion or marketing preferred. - Prior experience as Assistant Buyer with a department store retailer. - Proven ability to organize and prioritize work effectively with a high sense of urgency. - Strong math skills; ability to analyze sales and brand statistics to support effective merchandising decisions. - Excellent verbal and solid written communication skills. - Flexible and multifunctional. - Assertive, energetic and results driven. - Strong computer skills; MS Excel and MS Word experience.
