Job Description
Major Retailer is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Answer calls and follow-up on calls
-Manage and maintain executives' schedules
-Prepare, maintain, and print reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, database, SAP, and other software
-Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
-Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email
-File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
-Greet and receive visitors
-Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries
-Make all travel arrangements
-Work in Gelco for travel reimbursements
-Communicate daily with overseas factories and internal personnel
-Assist and resolve all departmental issues/needs, i.e. such as computer setups, samples, etc.
-Daily dictation and note taking at meetings
-Organize/plan annual seminar with all factories and personnel
-Take care of some person tasks, i.e. errands
-Work on highly confidential documents, high degree of discretion
-Work with Import and Finance departments for follow-up information. FJT#15347
