Job Description
Support Theory, Theyskens' Theory and Helmut Lang social media
through assisting on various marketing initiatives to grow our
social media following and digital presence. The primary focus
of this role will be to drive Theory's presence and voice in
social media.
The right candidate will have a college degree in business or
the arts and sciences, plus 1+ years of relevant work
experience. All applicants should have a good understanding of
the Theory, Theyskens' Theory and the Helmut Lang brands and
must possess an interest in fashion and the digital space.
Furthermore, they must be well-versed in the latest blogs and
be active in social communities such as Facebook, Twitter and
Tumblr. Candidate needs to be enthusiastic, reliable, nimble,
innovative, creative, strategic, a forward-thinker and have an
honest work ethic.
This position reports to the Social Media Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in being the voice for Theory on social media
including daily posts, live tweeting, responding and
escalating as necessary on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and
Boutiques.com to stay engaged and involved in
the -conversation.-
- Maintain: Theory's custom Facebook tabs (using the Buddy
Media Platform), Facebook Page, Twitter and Foursquare with
fresh, new content
- Assist in organizing and coordinating all necessary assets
(web-safe imagery, video, trackable links, etc) for all brands
- Campaigns: assist in execution of new initiatives to help
grow the social fan base for all brands
- Reporting: build and distribute weekly and monthly dashboards
and reports on social media performance for all brands
- Promotions: assist in execution and tracking of social media
promotions and sweepstakes for all brands
- Be current on all new emerging technologies and social
communities
- Participate in the development of social media strategies and
key programming for all brands
- Manage the editorial calendar(s) for several social media
channels requiring heavy collaboration with other internal
departments such as retail, public relations, ecommerce and
design.
